HOW TO MEASURE BOXES
Dimensions Information
Boxes are measured by their INSIDE dimensions (i.d.) LENGTH x WIDTH x DEPTH1 / The first dimension is LENGTH, which is always the longest side of the box that has a flap.
2 / The next or second dimension is the WIDTH, which is always the shorter side of the box and has a flap.
3 / The third and last dimension in measuring a box is the DEPTH, also referred to as the HEIGHT. This is the only dimension without a flap.
* When measuring a box, you do not include the flaps in your dimensions.
